Please do not use his art unless you have a license to do so. License/Tubes can be purchased at http://www.creativeimagelicensing.com. This was written in psp 8 but should work in any version. For this tutorial you will need: Paint Shop Pro Animation Shop Supplies created by Kia open 'Kia-Tut-KissThis.PspMask' in psp and minimise it for now. Tube and Font of your choice This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of your psp program and working with layers. Remember to save often. You can use this arrow to help you keep your place =) ![]() Open a new canvas 500 x 400 pixels; 72ppi; transparent background. ![]() Flood fill your canvas with white. Rename this layer 'background'. Add a new raster layer. Open up your tube. Pick a mid/light color from your tube as your foreground. I used: #FFE2D4 Pick a mid/dark color from your tube as your background. I used: #CD8472 Minimise your tube. Set your foreground to gradient foreground/background as shown below ![]() Flood fill your canvas with the gradient. Adjust -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur -> Radius 50. Rename layer 'Swirl'. 'layers' -> 'new mask layer' -> 'from image'; select 'kissthis-mask' and 'source luminance' ![]() 'layers' -> 'merge' -> 'merge group'; this merged layer will now be called 'group swirl' ![]() duplicate this layer 'X' out your 'background layer 'layers' -> 'merge' -> 'merge visible'; rename this layer 'swirl' un 'X' your 'background' layer; make 'swirl' the active layer Copy and Paste your tube as a new layer. Resize if required; 'resize all layers' OFF; 'smart size'. Add a drop shadow. I used: V=-5; H=5; O=25; B=5; color=#853D27 Add your copyright info, license, watermark, etc on a new layer The copy right symbol is created by holding alt and pressing 0169 on the number pad. Convert to raster layer; Rename this layer 'copyright' I use pixelette size 6 stroke and anti alias OFF Add your name on a new layer. Convert to raster layer; Rename this layer 'name' I used: Impact; size=72; Bold; Stroke=2; Foreground=#853D27; Background=#F4061E I applied an inner bevel (see below) and the same drop shadow as I used for my tube ![]() OK time for the animation! Open up animation shop {AS} Open 'kissthis-lips.mng', minimise for now.

In PSP right click your tag and select 'copy merged' (Shft:Ctrl:C)It is free to use and I do not require credits for it. Please do not claim it as your own, add it to collections or otherwise share it. You may colorise it, if you wish =) Go to AS and right click on the blank screen -> paste as new animation (Ctrl:V) Right click on the current image there; select 'paste' -> 'after current frame' (Shft:Ctrl:L) Repeat this step until you have 8 frames. 'Edit' -> 'select all' (Ctrl:A) 'Edit' -> 'propagate paste' (make sure the icon is 'ON' - see below). ![]() Restore 'kissthis-lips.mng' 'Edit' -> 'select all' (Ctrl:A) 'Edit' -> 'copy' (Ctrl:C) Minimise 'kissthis-lips.mng' Your tag should be active now 'Edit' -> 'paste' -> 'into selected frame' (Ctrl:E) use your mouse to position the lips in the first frame - DO NOT click until you are happy with the position when you click with the mouse it will insert the lips into each frame accordingly. For this tag we will leave each frame at the default of 10/100th second. To view your animation click on this icon ![]() 'file' -> 'save' (or hit the save icon) and save as '.gif' ![]() These are my settings in AS (Customise) Note: this tag does not have any transparency ![]() ![]() Click 'OK' -> 'Next' -> 'Next' -> 'Next' -> 'Finish' That's it!
