For this tutorial you will need: Paint Shop Pro My Cool As Cream ScrapKit (Freebie) Images (5) and Font of your choice This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of your psp program and working with layers. Remember to save often. You can use this arrow to help you keep your place =) ![]() Open a new canvas 500 x 500 pixels; 72ppi; transparent background. ![]() Open up your images. For each one hit Shift:D - this will create a duplicate. Close the originals. Open up 'slide' from my supplies hit Shift:D to duplicate and close the original. You may colorise this kit if you wish. Resize each of your images so that they will fit into the view area of the slide. For my images I re-sized them to width=242 pixels; 'smart size' and then sharpened the image once. Copy and Paste as a new layer onto your slide and drag below the slide template. Position to suit your images - I left mine centered. 'X' out all but one of your images on the 'slide' canvas. Right click and select 'copy merged' (Shft:Ctrl:C), then paste as a new layer onto your blank canvas. 'X' out that image and un'X' the next one and repeat as above for each image. Now you can arrange your slides as you like on your canvas. I rotated 2 of the slides 5 degrees left and 2 of slides 5 degrees right. I left the center slide straight. Apply a drop shadow to each slide. I used V=-1; H=-1; O=50; B=5; color=#000000 Then, on a new layer, add as many or as few scrap elements as your require. Give each one the same drop shadow as your slides. I also added some brushes below the slides. Add your copyright info, license, watermark, etc on a new layer The copy right symbol is created by holding alt and pressing 0169 on the number pad. Convert to raster layer; Rename this layer 'copyright' I used FFF Galaxy size 6 stroke and anti alias OFF Add your name on a new layer. Convert to raster layer; Rename this layer 'name' I used: Velvet Script; size=72; Bold; Stroke=1; Foreground=#E8E0D2; Background=#E8E0D2 Apply an inner bevel and/or drop shadow of your choice. I applied Eye Candy 5 -> Impact -> Glass That's it! I'd love to see your creations, you make from this tut, so send them to me HERE, remove the [nospam] and I will display them in my gallery. Remember to be copyright safe. Here is another version using the art of Anthony Guerra ![]() Return To Tut Index | ||
