Photo Shoot![]() This tutorial was written by, and is copyright to, Kia ~ 21st May 2007. Please refer to my TOU The images used in this tutorial are © Barbara Jensen. Please do not use her art unless you have a license to do so. License/Tubes can be purchased at Erotic Artist Gallery. This was written in psp 8 but should work in any version. For this tutorial you will need: Paint Shop Pro Animation Shop Supplies created by Kia Place the 'preset shape' in your 'preset shapes' folder of psp. This is provided for this tutorial only and is not to be used in the creation of any other tutorial or shared. Images/Tubes (3) and Font of your choice This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of your psp program and working with layers. Remember to save often. You can use this arrow to help you keep your place =) ![]() Open a new canvas 500 x 500 pixels; 72ppi; transparent background. ![]() Rename the first layer as 'background' Select your 'preset shape' tool and select the 'shutter' preset that came with this tut. Chose a bright color from your image for your foreground - I used #E53537 Set your background to #000000. 'Anti-alias'=checked; 'create as vector'=checked; 'line width'=2 Hold down Shift while you draw your shape, this will keep it perfectly round. Aim to almost fill the canvas, so about 485x485 pixels. 'objects' -> 'align' -> 'center in canvas' Convert to raster layer. Rename this layer 'shutter closed' Now using the 'circle' preset shape, settings as above but change your background to null. (because you have 'create as vector' checked it will automatically be on a new layer.) Remember to hold down Shift to get a perfect circle. Draw out a circle as big as your 'shutter' 'objects' -> 'align' -> 'center in canvas' Convert to raster layer Rename this layer as 'shutter open' Draw out another circle as above but this time make it about 380x380 pixels. 'objects' -> 'align' -> 'center in canvas' Convert to raster layer Rename this layer as 'almost open' Draw out another circle as above but this time make it about 230x230 pixels. 'objects' -> 'align' -> 'center in canvas' Convert to raster layer Rename this layer as 'almost closed' Make 'shutter closed' your active layer. Duplicate 2 times (total 3 layers) Arrange your layers as shown ![]() Make 'almost open' your active layer. using your 'magic wand' click inside the circle. 'selections' -> 'modify' -> 'expand' -> expand by 1 pixel Make 'copy (2) of shutter closed' your active layer and hit delete. Make 'almost open' the active layer again. 'layers' -> 'merge' -> 'merge down' Rename 'almost open' Make 'almost closed' your active layer. using your 'magic wand' click inside the circle. 'selections' -> 'modify' -> 'expand' -> expand by 1 pixel Make 'copy of shutter closed' your active layer and hit delete. Make 'almost closed' the active layer again. 'layers' -> 'merge' -> 'merge down' Rename 'almost closed' Copy and Paste your chosen images/tubes as 'new layer' (so each is on it's own layer) Resize if required. All layers OFF; smart size. You can move them around if you wish, I left all mine centered. Drag them all below the layer 'shutter closed' Make 'background' active Flood fill with white (#FFFFFF) If you are using tubes: Make 'shutter open' active and click inside the circle with your magic wand. Make 'background' active again and flood fill inside the selected area with a color that compliments your tubes Give your tubes a drop shadow if you wish. If you are using images: Make 'shutter open' active and click inside the circle with your magic wand. Now for each image flood fill any 'empty space' with a complimentary color For the Barbara Jensen images, I just used the same color as the background they were already on. For both images and tubes: 'selections' -> 'invert' (Shift:Ctrl:I) Take each image or tube layer in turn and hit delete to erase any bits that are outside the circle. So to recap your layers should now look like this: ![]() Add your copyright info, license, watermark, etc on a new layer The copy right symbol is created by holding alt and pressing 0169 on the number pad. Convert to raster layer Rename this layer 'copyright' I use pixelette size 6 stroke and anti alias OFF Add your name on a new layer. Convert to raster layer Rename this layer 'name' I used: Saginaw size=72 Bold; stroke=1; foregorund=#000000; background=#000000 I gave it a red glow using 'eye candy 4000' -> 'corona' -> 'ion cloud' I changed the 'glow' and 'flare' to 5 pixels and the color to red.
