Place the 'preset shape' in your 'preset shapes' folder of psp.
This is provided for this tutorial only and is not to be used in the creation of any other tutorial or shared.

Images (5) and Font of your choice

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of your psp program and working with layers.

Remember to save often.

You can use this arrow to help you keep your place =)

Open a new canvas 500 x 500 pixels; 72ppi; transparent background.

Rename the first layer as 'background'
Select your 'preset shape' tool and select the 'shutter2' preset that came with this tut.
Foreground=#000000; background=null; 'anti-alias'=checked; 'create as vector'=checked; 'line width'=2
Hold down Shift while you draw your shape, this will keep it perfectly round.
Aim to almost fill the canvas, so about 485x485 pixels.
'objects' -> 'align' -> 'center in canvas'
Convert to raster layer.
Rename this layer 'outline'

Copy and Paste your chosen images as 'new layer' (each on it own layer).
Now for this bit it's down to your judgement.
Resize and rotate your images so that they fit 2 adjacent segments of the shape you drew out.
When you are happy with how each image sits, make the 'outline' layer active.
Using your 'magic wand' mode set to 'add' click inside both segments above your chosen image.
'selections' -> 'modify' -> 'expand' -> expand by 1 pixel
'selections' -> 'invert' (Shift:Ctrl:I)
Make the image layer active and hit delete.
Deselect.
Do this for each of your chosen images.

Once you are happy with your images 'X' out your background layer
'layers' -> 'merge' -> 'merge visable'
un'X' your background layer
If you wish you can add a new raster layer (drag it below your 'merged' layer) and add some brushes to it.
Make your 'merged' layer active and give it a drop shadow. I used V=0; H=0; O=50; B=18; color=#BE0910

Add your copyright info, license, watermark, etc on a new layer
The copy right symbol is created by holding alt and pressing 0169 on the number pad.
Convert to raster layer
Rename this layer 'copyright'
I use pixelette size 6 stroke and anti alias OFF
Add your name on a new layer.
Convert to raster layer
Rename this layer 'name'
I used: Teenage Girl 1 size=48 Bold; stroke=1; foregorund=#000000; background=#951511
I then used 'eye candy 5' -> 'Impact' -> 'extrude' -> 'small offset 30 degrees' and changed the 'extrude distance' to 5 pixels.
I then used 'eye candy 4000' -> 'corona' -> 'ion cloud' and changed 'flare size' and 'glow width' to 5 pixels.
Finally I added a drop shadow of V=-3; H=3; O=75; B=8; color=#BE0910
That's it!

I'd love to see your creations, you make from this tut, so send them to me HERE, remove the [nospam]
and I will display them in my gallery.
Remember to be copyright safe.
